Making Changes for Careers (MC4C)

We provide training , guidance and support to young people (16 to 29) who are not in education, employment or in training and looking to gain employment or to become self-employed.

Learners gain a level 1 qualification in enterprise skills, while enhancing their essential soft skills and while those seeking to become their own boss, gain knowledge and understanding on -

  • HMRC registration
  • tax returns
  • quotations - incoming and outgoing
  • creating Business Plans

with opportunity for mentors to offer additional support.

John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank is for young people aged up to and including 21 years old.

It offers grants of up to £1000 for individuals or groups of young people who need finance to help make their idea happen, that live in Hull and the East Riding (More funding will be considered in exceptional circumstances). The idea should benefit other people or help the applicant develop an enterprising idea.
