Work Experience provides you with an opportunity to spend a period of time with an employer, gaining vital experience and developing new skills in a supported friendly environment.

Hull City Council’s work experience scheme has proved to be a great success over many years. Hundreds of young people have benefited from it by using it to help make informed decisions about their first career steps.

If you feel you would like to explore the option of a  work experience placement the process is really simple.

All you need to do is speak to your Key Worker/PA/Regeneration Champion or contact the work experience team directly (Jayne Dobson) they will take some details from you around what opportunities you would like to explore, when you are available and any other information you feel you would like to add to your request.

The work experience team will then on your behalf look at your interests and availability and establish what opportunities are available for you.

Young people undertaking work experience placements will be provided with support to travel, lunches and any special clothing.
